- A re-selection within Black Mountain Secale (Secale montanum) - this would be ideal for elevated areas throughout the Mediterranean
- A Festuca ovina (Sheep's fescue) - with drought tolerance adapted to a cool Mediterranean climate

- A highly productive stoloniferous long lived Red Clover
- A cold tolerant Vicia villosa
